Power Metal is a heavy metal band, formed in Surabaya, Indonesia in September 1987. The band is generally not considered a power metal band simply because the guitar riffs and solos are often not fast enough and their lyrics often talk about love, war, and society instead of fantasy and mythology commonly found on typical power metal lyrics, but the vocals are clean and often in a very high register just like typical power metal vocals. The band became the opening act for several well-known metal bands during their live concerts in Indonesia
